Tax Haven is not Tax Heaven.

避税避风港　≠　避税天堂。

不久前和一位资深律师聊天，他分享了最近发现很多人经常对于Tax Haven的误解。

许多人以来一直把Tax Haven听成Tax Heaven，也可以说是把“Haven”联想成“Heaven”。

不知道是不是因为这个原因，许多中文新闻主播都把Tax Haven解释成“逃税天堂”。今天就刚巧在新闻中让我听到了主播确实用了“逃税天堂”。

Haven不是Heaven。它们之间的差别就在那个“毫不起眼”的“e”。“e”就让两个的意思天渊之别，没有相似之处。

一下是搜索几本词典的解释：

Haven－安乐窝；庇护所。a place where people or animals can feel safe and happy.

Heaven－天国；天堂。The place where God is believed to live.

Haven－避难所；安全场所。A place that is safe and peaceful where people go to rest or to be protected from something.

Haven－a place where people or animals can live peacefully or go to in order to be safe.

天堂－某些宗教指人死后灵魂居住的永享幸福的地方。

避难所－躲避灾难或迫害的地方。

安全场所－没有危险或不受威胁的处所。

避风港－指可供船只躲避大风浪的港湾。比喻躲避困难或政治斗争的安全地区。
